Mission

In 1990, a goal statement, "Applying God's Word To All Of Life" was adopted. A statement of purpose was proposed, committing the church to strive to be a "beacon of light for the Reformed Faith in Wilmington and environs." This would involve:

• Christ-centered, Reformed worship;
• Teaching and catechizing families, individuals and young people;
• Outreach to the community through friendship evangelism, works of mercy, topical seminars for the body and community, and a radio and tape ministry;
• Outreach to the world by actively supporting missions;
• Caring (ministering) to needs in and outside of the local body.
